Breaking away and allowing yourself a little time to reset…it’s so important. We keep a rubbermade tote full of camping gear so on a Friday right after work, we can run home, grab the dogs and be headed to the hills before 5:30. They aren’t epic weekends packed with adventure and instagram-worthy views, but it allows for an evening of looking at the stars rather than a TV or computer. Listening to the crackle of a fire or the howl of coyote rather than a series of commercials. It’s what summers are for and it’s good for the soul.
